Michael Beckett – Vicar of St Paul’s 

Michael Beckett has been vicar of St Paul’s since January 1993. He recently published “Gospel in Esther” based on a series of sermons and is currently working on other publications. Before coming to St Paul’s Michael was Curate of St Barnabas Church, Mill Road from July 1988. From July 1975 until July 1984, he worked as an accountant in the City of London. Michael is married to Debbie and they have four children, Anna, Simon, Jenny and Richard and two grandchildren, Leo and Olivia. 

Michael enjoys playing golf and watching football, despite the fact that he is a Liverpool supporter (from Essex).

Debbie Beckett – Church Secretary 

Debbie Beckett works in the Centre office two mornings a week and deals with church-related matters. She is also a member of the Centre Management Group.

Chris Rose – St Paul’s Curate 

Chris Rose is the curate (assistant minister) at St Paul’s. This is a voluntary role and mainly involves help with the Sunday services and involvement with the running of the Church and Centre. For the remainder of his week Chris works for a charity called the Amos Trust which promotes justice and hope for forgotten communities around the world.
